Pine Tar Soap

Scent description: Strong Smokey, Woodsy, Campfire, often said to smell like a mix of burning pine and earth.

This all natural soap has long been used for its medicinal benefits in the treatment of skin and scalp conditions. It's wonderful for prevention of underarm, foot and other strong body odors. It has antibacterial and anti-fungal qualities and is useful to soothe and treat symptoms of poison ivy, poison oak and sumac, eczema, psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis, jock itch and athletes foot. Pine tar relieves itching caused by bug bites, it is also great for treating inflammation and itching of the scalp due to dandruff, scalp eczema, and other scalp irritations... even lice. It also helps to prevent baldness and increases hair growth. This wonderful soap is not a regular "nice" smelling soap, so if you've never used tar soap before please do your research before you purchase it.

Ingredients Saponified olive oil*, avocado oil*, shea butter*, coconut oil*, castor oil*, kaolin clay, himalayan salt, beeswax, Swedish pine tar.

NOTES & PRECAUTIONS:

- To ensure that your handmade soaps last as long as possible always keep them on a well-drained soap dish and allow the soap to dry between uses. Soap left in standing water can become soft and will not last as long.
- Please allow for slight differences in the color and size of our soaps, as all our soaps are handmade in small batches and cut by hand.
